Rules, labels, and who can treat
NYC has rodent and bed-bug disclosure and housing-maintenance rules distinct from upstate practice. DEC regulates wildlife. Pesticide licensing is a state program. Do not apply products in a way that violates NYC housing or pesticide rules.
Practical notes for this region
In apartments, German cockroaches and bed bugs are building problems. A single-unit spray without the neighbor’s unit is a common failure mode.
