Myths and DIY
Do mothballs work for mice?
Do not pour mothballs in a kitchen, a crawl, or a car as mouse control. Those products have specific labeled uses — typically sealed containers of fabric, not open rooms. Clothes moths are a different label
Clothes moth in a closet still want cleaning, isolation, and products used only as labeled. An open dish of mothballs in a child’s room is a poison-control call waiting to happen. US: 1-800-222-1222.
