Myths and DIY
Can pesticides be mixed together?
Mix pesticides only when every label in the tank says you may. Homemade cocktails — bleach and ammonia, gasoline in a nest, oil plus a concentrate “to make it stronger” — are how poisonings and fires happen. If the label is silent, do not invent a mix. Pesticide safety and the EPA label is the page. US poison control: 1-800-222-1222.
Foggers plus everything else
A total-release fogger in a room with a pilot light is a documented hazard. Adding a second product because the first “did not work” is how residues and resistance stacks. Stop, identify, then one labeled tool in the right place.
