Rodents
Can mice climb walls?
Yes. House mouse climb rough drywall corners, brick, wire, and the back of cabinets. They do not need a rat’s muscle. A gap at the top of a cabinet is as useful as a gap at the toe-kick. Climbing is why a single floor trap underestimates the job.
Where to put traps
Perpendicular to the wall, trigger toward the baseboard, in quantity. Add sets along pipes if droppings are on a shelf. Glue boards on a high shelf are a pet-and-child problem if they can fall. Prefer snaps.
