Termites
What temperature kills termites?
You cannot set the furnace to a number that kills Subterranean termite in the ground. Drywood treatments sometimes use professional heat or fumigation because the insects are in the wood. Those are licensed jobs with dwell times, not a space heater in an attic. Prevention is moisture, soil contact, and inspection.
Winter is not a treatment in the South
Soil stays hospitable across much of the US termite range. A cold week in Minnesota is not a Georgia plan. Buy an inspection, not a weather app.
