Will a skunk spray in the house?
Striped skunk spray when they cannot flee. A crawlspace, a window well, or a dog at the pet door is the usual indoor disaster. Lights, noise, and a cornered animal are how living rooms get tagged. Open an exit, keep pets in, and call a licensed operator. Tomato juice is folklore; ventilation and time are the cleanup, plus a professional if it is in the HVAC.
Window wells
Cover wells with a grate that still drains. A stuck skunk in a well is a spray event waiting for the first person with a flashlight. Do not reach in.
